"We were lucky enough to have Jeff Gellman of Solid K-9 Training help our Junior Girl Scout troop work on our pet care badge.
We learned a lot about training a dog, how much
exercise it needs, a healthy diet for the dog, and many other things about dogs
and dog training. He was patient and calm, funny and very interactive. The girls
were able to take turns learning the best way to walk a dog, feed a dog, and
learned how important it is to have a dog recognize you as the leader. He
brought two fabulous dogs with him that the girls all wanted to take home
with them. Jeff also talked about the importance of volunteering, sharing your
talents and gifts with others.
Overall I would highly recommend him to do a presentation
or demonstration for your group."
