Over the Hills and through the poop
Saturday was the start of the yard getting redone…a crew came in and started moving yards and yards of dirt into piles that will be a large hill that the dogs will be able to run over and play on. New stone paths and flower beds as well as shrubs and other landscaping along with sitting areas are going in on Lindas side of the front yard….new fencing is being installed so that aggressive dogs and other dogs can be out at the same time but separated..this will allow us to have all of the dogs out in the training yard at once. Clover and Romy are getting a swing set with slide and tower along with a sandbox.
I had another dog come in on friday..Jake is a great young dog who needs some basic work. After the first day of being a little nervous he fits right in…
Cosmo had to go to the emergency room on Friday…it seems he stepped on something sharp…he had a cut on the bottom of his paw…so I spent about 3 hours up in Swansea getting him patched up. He came back to the kennel with a cone on his head and his foot all bandaged up…all of the dogs started making fun of him….so after I made all of the dogs write “I will not make fun of Cosmo” fifty times…they all apologized and I have not heard a peep from them again.
Today was another beautiful day outside. most dogs spent it just playing with Clover…it is incredible to see how all of the dogs get along with her…she loves meeting all of the new dogs….Fargo and Jake get along wonderful with her.
Fargo found the monkey and started playing on the hill….yes that is Clovers brand new dress that Linda bought yesterday….and no she does not no that clover is wearing it.
Max and Fargo have become very good friends. They ran around the yard for a long time….don’t be fooled by Fargo’s small size…he is one tough dog….

Today after a good day of play….some of the dogs got washed down in the dog wash and Clover wanted to get washed up as well..so I went inside and got her towel and PJ’s and she got hosed down as well…she loved it….
I’m tired….it was a long week..my busiest week ever….i just found out that Max the beagle is coming back…he was adopted out but the family did not like the way he was interacting with their child…so….he will be up for adoption again….call me if you are interested 401.527.6354
