I get bit again…
yesterday morning i went on my usual morning training walk..brought 5 dogs with me..all as we exited my van all tethered together…bella and uma decided to fight…what would have been a split second second scuffle turned into a full blown dog fight…so of course i was in the middle and bella tried to go after one of the dogs and bit me instead…on the hand…it hurt…it still hurts (all my nurse clients leave me alone, I am fine LOL)
So back in the van to head home….soaked my hand in peroxide…put on a bandage, had to cancel one appt and I was back on the road at 2pm training. My hand seems to be swollen to 2 times the size…I will put on a hot compress and squeeze all of the crap out of it that is building up……sort of like popping a big zit..LOL…
My brother Mike comes in from San Diego with his son Jonas this morning…it is always nice to see him, which is only about 1 time a year…its always a little stressful for linda to have people stay at the house…..
this mornings walk was great..
max, bella, uma, dharma and bard in a lineup all waiting for the heel command….
1/2 way through the walk i put the dogs into a downstay so I can talk to one of my clients who happened to be driving by and stopped to talk with me…the importance of a great downstay…Blackstone Blvd is the street that is inches away from them….so there is lots of distractions around them.
yesterday linda had a bunch of things to do..so i spent a few hours hanging out with clover and romy…..we had a nice little snack at our camping site on our front yard..
i have one of my older tents that I don’t use for backpacking anymore set up with a little picnic table out front…the girls go into the tent and read and love to have meals and snacks on the picnic bench outside..
Romy (21mths) does not like to take naps anymore since there is so many dogs to play with..so I bring her onto a chair and just start hugging her and she puts her head down and falls asleep..if not she will be a wreck before dinner time..thats Coco on my lap….yes..a dog is on my lap..its Linda’s chihuahua, and I have nothing to do with it LOL
